ZOON [ROBOTICS]

Privacy

How this website uses analytics and cookies, and what happens to what you share with us. Last updated 24 October 2026.

Who we are

Zoon Robotics, a robotics lab in the King’s Cross area of London. For anything about your data, email james@zoonrobotics.com.

Analytics and cookies

We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to understand how the site is used.

You can change your choice at any time.

We remember your choice in your browser’s local storage. That is strictly necessary and is not used for anything else.

Alister, our AI guide

Chats and voice calls with Alister are recorded so we can improve him and follow up on requests: the messages or call transcript, their times, the length of a call, the page you were on and an anonymous browser ID (and, in the investor area, the signed-in email address). They are stored in our database in the EU (Frankfurt) and in PostHog. Replies are generated by OpenAI; voice calls run through LiveKit and OpenAI, with the video avatar provided by Anam. Your microphone is used only while a call is active. If you ask to be put in touch, the details you share are emailed or texted to James.

The investor area

The investor area at /investors is invite only. To help James follow up, it records invited investors’ visits: pages and slides viewed, time spent, downloads and session recordings, plus conversations with Alister. Sign-in uses Google or a one-time link sent by email through Resend.

Enquiries, applications and the shop

Research, lab visit, investment and partnership enquiries are emailed to the Zoon team through Resend so we can reply; they are kept in our inboxes. Job applications and CVs are stored privately with Vercel for recruitment and emailed to the team. At shop checkout, your name, email, phone number, delivery address and order are emailed to the team so we can arrange payment and delivery; no card details are collected.

Camera tracking

The robot follows your cursor. Body, hand and face tracking starts only if you enable it and grant camera permission. Camera frames are processed in your browser and are never recorded or uploaded.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Vercel, which processes standard request logs.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email james@zoonrobotics.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
